Success doesn’t look like 10/10 anymore. And that’s the breakthrough.

For a long time, I thought success meant intensity.
Big wins.
Clear milestones.
Results you could point to and say, I’m moving fast.
And for years, that worked for me.
But this season of my life looks different.
Right now, success isn’t just one thing.
It’s:
• Showing up for my yoga teacher training, even when I feel unsure.
• Building ZenMomTribe slowly, intentionally, one small decision at a time.
• Learning to lead a team instead of doing everything myself.
• Holding space for my family.
• Seeing my daughter finally begin to settle and feel secure.
If I measured success only by sales, visibility, or speed, I would miss what’s actually happening.
Growth is happening.
Just not loudly.
There’s a line from Atomic Habits by James Clear that has stayed with me:
“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
And right now, I’m building systems.
Capacity.
Stability.
A life that can hold the success I’m working toward.

This season isn’t a sprint.
It’s infrastructure.
Some days, success looks like progress.
Some days, it looks like restraint.
Some days, it looks like choosing peace over pushing harder.
I used to think success had to feel like a 10.
Now I understand something different:
Some seasons are meant to be a steady 6.
Not failing.
Not behind.
Just building - slowly enough to last.
That’s the heart behind my journals like Calm Within Chaos and Dream. Breathe. Restore.
Because most of us aren’t living highlight-reel lives.
We’re living real lives.
Busy. Emotional. Stretching. Becoming.
And sometimes the most powerful mindset you can carry into a season like this is the one written on my tote:
Not because everything is perfect.
But because you’re showing up.
You’re adjusting.
You’re growing into the life you actually want - not the one that just looks impressive.
If your progress feels quiet right now…
If your wins feel small…
If your life looks more like a 6 than a 10…
You’re probably not falling behind.
You’re building something sustainable.
And that kind of success?
It lasts.
Have an awesome week
