The Voice In Your Head Matters
Hi Mom,
If your friend came to you exhausted, overwhelmed, and convinced she wasn’t doing enough…
You probably wouldn’t tell her to try harder.
You’d remind her that she’s doing her best.
You’d tell her to rest.
You’d notice everything she’s carrying that she can’t quite see herself.
So why is it so much harder to offer yourself that same kindness?

As mothers, we’re often our own toughest critics.
We replay the moments we wish we’d handled differently.
We focus on what didn’t get done.
We compare ourselves to impossible standards.
But what if, this week, you spoke to yourself the way you’d speak to someone you love?
Not because everything is perfect.
But because you’re human.
Kindness isn’t lowering your standards.
It’s recognizing that you deserve grace while you’re growing, learning, and showing up every day.
So this week, when your inner critic gets loud, pause for a moment.

Ask yourself:
”Would I say this to someone I care about?”
If the answer is no, choose kinder words.
You deserve those too.
If this speaks to you, there’s always a place for you in the tribe. You’re welcome to join us here.
Have a gentle week.
With Love,
Tai | ZenMomTribe 🤍
